Their goal was offside. That was the big of luck they needed.

If that's a dig at our owners I think it was not called for.
Landsown the owner at Bristol has slowly built the club up and has not thrown silly money at it in doing so.
Our owners are slowly building a financially stable club at Rovers.
You must also realise Bristol is the 7th largest city in England and has a huge catchment area to call on for support.
We are lucky to have the owners we have. Local people who care about Doncaster and Doncaster Rovers. Better than foreign owners who maybe up and gone at any given time.

A little ironic from a self-proclaimed Hull fan.

When I started watching football local businessmen were usually on the board. The likes of Bob Lord at Burnley and Louis Edwards at Manchester United were wealthy but probably not even millionaires.
It then moved on to needing millionaires to fund clubs and now we are in an era where to compete at the top level it needs Billionaires to supplement the hundreds of millions received from Sky.
Football has gone mad.

Fair points although they share the city with another football club and I understand that rugby union is big news down there.

Their gates are pretty small beer compared to Derby, Sunderland etc.

Do you think if I ask him, he will give the couple of thousand I give to him in fees each year, he will give it to the Rovers as a gesture of good will?

Both great goals that were not offside, but the free kick Manchester United got presented by their supporter who was  refereeing was shocking.

He is also an owner who sticks by his manager despite what the fans say. This time last season they were in a relegation battle with fans calling for Johnson to be sacked and the owner to go for not putting money in. You missed that bit out.

The second goal was 100% offside in the build up. Shows how much people take notice of what they are watching.

Nothing wrong with the goal, not my favourite place to go Ashton Gate , David Harle's winner in 83/4 ,coats against the windows etc.

Their player is clearly offside here in the build up.

Debatable, but not interferring with play, the ball went nowhere near him

No, just stating a fact. It was offside, that’s all.

Yes I've seen the goal, you are on about earlier in the move, not convinced it's offside and the Camera angle can't be relied upon

From that still shot, looking at the way the grass cut goes, the middle of the 3 defenders looks to be playing the forward on, just,..

Just watched the highlight clips on Sky's website.  Neither goal looked offside to me.

Anyway, who cares??

Just another one of those games when I wanted both teams to lose
