Good save or not,
Beeston should be finishing that
-
The ball was a foot and a half behind Beestin so it wasn’t as easy as it looked first time. It wanted knocking into the near post corner. Instead, he’s had to drag it from behind himself and he’s just scooped it in the direction that the keeper was diving.
A really good instinctive goal scorer would have adjusted his position as the ball came across and just let the ball bounce off his instep into the corner. Beestin did as much as he realistically could and it was unfortunate that he scooped it into the one place that was savable.

Rowe’s miss was just as bad. He’s better than that.
Should have shot low near post.
-
My spirits sank as soon as I saw Rowe lining up the shot with his right foot.

Beastin’s was a sitter.

It's easy for use to say in the stands but all he had to do was toe poke it towards the near post! That's when I knew we weren't going to score.

Beestin should have scored. It is a good save and it was a difficult take but neither of these facts mean it shouldn't have been buried. He's a couple of yards out of the net, with so much to aim for.
That said Rowe's was arguably just as bad. Did really well to get into that position then bottled it.

Gaz
No such thing, according to those who make a living studying these things.

Look at the David Silva, Andy Gray and Divock Origi chances. None of them identical to Beestin’s, but taking those into consideration, and the fact that the ball was played half a yard behind him, I’d guess that the probability of him scoring was about 30%
