Post by: donnyguy61 on January 22, 2018, 02:43:01 pm
Butler and Ben Khemis both having scans today on injuries. No official prognosis yet but Darren Ferguson fears atleast a month for Butler and possibly season ending for Ben Khemis #DRFC. From Jonathan Buchan on Twitter

Rather this happened now than in three weeks, if it has to. We have time to sign a replacement if Fergie feels the need.

Missing Butler for more than a couple of games could be a significant twist on the season. I doubt we'll be getting a replacement, and anyway Baudry/McCullough might be enough to plug the gap, but fingers crossed that isn't needed.

Don’t you mean that is enough to plug the gap ?

I forgot to rate our physio for his performance at the Shrewsbury game .. 3
Had he strapped Wright's cut with a head bandage the first time he went off, or even at half time ,we would not have been left so vulnerable in central defence for those long long minutes . Moreover why did he not realise the need for a stretcher for Ben or even  call for assistance from the bench to carry him off rather than leave the lad to hobble on a bad injury !

Quite right Brian. I couldn't understand why he didn't bandage the wound.

I cannot believe there was no stretcher for Ben.  It probably compounded the injury getting him off without it.
Where the Shrewsbury St John’s ambulance men to assist him on Saturday?

Apparently they were repairing the linesman’s glasses.
