Out for a month...Guess that means a new loan centre back will be coming in at the very least maybe even two..

Great shout. Forest fans want him out after a poor season. We should be going all out for this.

He will be on fortunes. Why are fans so obsessed with ex players?

Isn’t this Heneghen available for loan at the blades? Apparently highly rated when they signed him.

I'd love to have seen Mills and Shackell play together.

Because he's of a known quality, and having been here before he might be interested in helping us out for the rest of the season.

A class act when fit but for me his future has to have some doubt about it with the amount of time he's injured .

One things for sure we need a consistent pair of centre backs next season to build on what seems to be a decent squad for the future 🔴⚪️🔴⚪️

I'd risk it.
Any established player will be expensive. Any young player will be inexperienced and have to play. Ie. Harry Worley.

We have Wright who has been fantastic. Allock can cover, mcCoullch will be back next week.

We're fine.

Forest fans at work have him marked as lazy and not interested

One more injury in that position & we are screwed big time, especially if it's Wright. If we think we can rely on a far from fit McCullough, (poor at centre half anyway), & Alcock then we are asking for trouble.

Maybe he needs to move on to get him fired up again.
It happens.

When he was signed florist were under embargo, no salary greater than 10K a week, so as DRFC wouldn't be paying it all in a loan deal just maybe drfc could get away with a 10K loan fee and 3K a week.

He wasn't like that here, but then having to be in Nottingham can have that effect on people. ;)

I think people are to quick to write Alcock off...Whilst I fully except that when he has come into the team this season he has been poor. However I can remember when he signed and he was playing regulary he could do a job all over the back four and we thought he was a decent player.Injuries changed all that and he slipped down the pecking order.

He was close to a exit last week until the injuries struck..I think he's one of those players that needs a run of games to get him into a consistent rhythm and now he's going to get that we might be pleasantly suprised. These development matches are okay but there isn't enough of them and the intensity is so low compaired to league football.

I agree Alcock will be ok.  I thought that Houghton had experience as. CB

When Wright was having his various bouts of treatment last Saturday Houghton dropped into the CB position. I'm not sure you'd want him to be starting there though.

Just on Baudry..He is out of contract at the end of this season.Whats peoples thoughts on a new contract?? I'm a bit torn tbh, whilst I like him as a player he does seem to be pretty fragile injury wise and spends a lot of the time unavailable..Deal or no deal???

Deal..

Any player we sign in his place could equally pick up an injury at any time..

That's true but in Baudry's case he does seem to pick them up frequently..He's had both ankles operated on now and is prone to niggles..

IF we can get the Rochdale lad in, I'd let him and Alcock leave.

I'd want someone experienced who can command the defence.

I’ll be honest I don’t really know anything about the Rochdale lad. But I do really rate Baudry. Keeping him fit is a bit of a concern but we do look a better team with him in it.

Not sure why people keep banging on about the defender from Rochdale as if he's ever been mentioned as on our radar.

Personally I think Baudry is more than worth signing to an extension. He's been unfortunate with two major injuries but besides that, has he had another injury until this hamstring strain?

Because he's more than good enough for League One soft lad.
