Barry this time
New goalkeeping coach at Ull

You can all ridicule as much as you like but Baz Richardson was one of the best distributors of the ball I've seen for Rovers. I hope he can pass that aspect of his game on to the young'ens.

Made a decent fist of coaching fair do’s to him

blimey - i remember one of the christmas derbies at the theatre of chips when every single clearance he made seemed to go straight on to the head of paul ellender - think that was the year we lost both matches back to back...

Well, there you go then. We had a keeper in Richardson who could actually keep the ball on the pitch!

Does that mean he's officially retired from playing now? He's less likely to be called upon in an emergency by Hull than he was Wycombe.
-
He could kick it a long way (probably drilled into him as a necessity at Lincoln under John Beck) but his goalkeeping often left a lot to be desired. A character, though.
-
He coached my lad’s youth team keeper’s across all 6 of our age groups, just for 8 weeks, and was brilliant with the lads. He also made sure he was coaching the coaches as he went along. I have a massive amount of respect for him
-
Still lives in Lincoln with his young family so it makes geographical sense.
-
He only left Wycombe (where they loved him) to get a job closer to his family.
