This is a personal list off top of my head; it’s difficult to pick just 1 player per decade. Much easier with 2
1950’s Harry Gregg / Alick Jeffrey
1960’s Lawrie Sheffield / Alick Jeffrey
1970’s Peter Kitchen / Big Brendan
1980’s Colin Douglas / Ian Snodin
1990’s Darren Moore / Colin Cramb
2000’s Andy Warrington / Brian Stock
2010’s James Coppinger / Billy Sharp
-
Can't really comment on players I never saw so here goes.
1980s Colin Douglas and Rufus brevett
1990s Lee Warren and Ian Duerden
2000s Michael mcindoe/ James coppinger
2010s billy sharp/ Richie wellens
Some not the most talented but each did their bit
-
Have the club ever looked at getting Kitch and Bren together at KMS we could maybe put them on for second half
-
If I were only able to pick four players to put in from my 19 years watching the club (seems unfair to pick two from the 90's considering my first game was in 1999) I'd probably go with Andy Warrington, Brian Stock, James Coppinger and Billy Sharp.
-
I'll go with RA's system as I've been watching a similar amount of time:
Paul Barnes, Francis Tierney (both self explanatory), Andy Warrington (for that play-off at Chester never mind everything else!) and James Hayter.
Copps can go in the minute he retires.
-
If 'has to have left/be retired' was a qualifier I would probably swap Copps for Hayter myself, always absolutely loved Hayter.
-
In our darkest hour, Lee Warren was one of a very few shining lights.
-
Got to agree with Lee Warren he stuck by us. Got to admit he wasn’t my favourite player but the loyalty shown by him is more than admirable

Got to say :
a) I like Branton Rovers idea of 2 per decade and largely feel he has the right men too in each decade
but
b) it does go to show with the recent Thread on this as well as this one how difficult it is / was for The Club to select those they have up to date as everyone can choose a Hall of Fame / Legend
They are on a hiding to nowt !

Alternatives
1950’s Peter Doherty / Bert Tindall
1960’s Albert Broadbent / Colin Booth
1970’s Dennis Peacock / Ian Miller
1980’s Glynn Snodin / Steve Lister
1990’s Mark Rankine / Jon Schofield
2000’s Michael Mcindoe / Paul Green
2010’s Rob Jones / Richie Wellens

My approach would be to produce a "long list" with reasons for inclusion. The problem is when you start including players who didn't do much at Rovers but went on to greater things, I.e. Brian Deane- you bring in all sorts of people. I'm thinking of George Shaw, Sam Cowan, Cliff Parker, even maybe Paul Holmes.

Hall of Shame needed as well.
1990s going to be so full that no room for rest of decades.
