Or would that be due to anticipated adverse weather?

I really do despair of how we Brits react to a small flurry of snow. Panic buying bread and milk, transport cancelled. It’s ridiculous...
... though you can’t really play togger on a frozen pitch, so I’ll let this one go.
-
I would think that the pitch is likely to be frozen. Even with frost covers Saturday's game must be doubtful unless it warms up a bit.

Just seen the forecast for the week and I think you might be right Red Baron. Heavy snow due Friday.

With Marquis on 9 bookings (I think) and amnesty the second weekend in March, a postponement might not be that bad for us. Also Bury might be over their current good form. Also gives Butler and Williams more chance of fitness.

.....and another Tuesday night match to look forward to.
I love going to midweek matches.

Its not usually the pitch that is the problem if suitably covered. its whether the access to the ground is safe for supporters. However if it snows heavily during the game it could also be abandoned if it is deemed unsafe !

I've paid for a couple people to have a meal etc in the restaurant for Saturday's match but they won't be able to make a re-arranged fixture at night time
-
Hopefully the disruption wont be half a bad as predicted - and the Game can go ahead without disrupting your plans
Maybe if it is off the Ticket Office might be open to swap them to a Saturday game or would you get a straight refund ?
Could be quite a costly "event" for the Catering operations too who will also be watching the skies
EDIT : Most of the snow forecast for this area falls in the early days of this week and then clears up for Thursday and Friday but they have now added "and there will be more snow coming Saturday" but not where or when - so it will be a matter of us all just watching and waiting !

Just announce a snap hippie festival in the car parks and across the hill area, soon shift all the snow and ice.
