looks very attack minded, but maybe a bit weak at the back?

I'm the opposite and think more defensive as it's more a 4 2 2 2

Certainly no defenders on the bench is surprising - Garrett must really be out of favour, or injured that we don't know of. But the first 11 looks balanced enough to me - two defensive midfielders makes it look solid enough (as long as Luke is not playing as a 3rd CB).

Boyle obviously still out but good to see Williams and Ben Khemis back - very surprised by the latter who I though was supposed to be out for much longer.

"There has been a late change to the Rovers side, with Matty Blair at RB instead of Craig Alcock"

Who directs the keeper and al to ALWAYS clear the ball to the left hand touchline ?

We are the only passing side but are obviously under instructions to lump it upfield to our left and their defensive right not just occasionally but ten out of ten .
So Paul Paul Gerrard even just hint to Marko to try to kid them from time to time by looking to the other side of the pitch where an intelligent fellow player like a free minded KYmomya might just run into with NOBODY else there .

It is disappointing that NO senior player on the pitch has seen what I have just mentioned . What about a bit of onfield captaincy thinking Copps ; Rowe , Baudry , ?

Marosi obviously under orders re his kicking distribution. I'd like to see Fergie give some of the players a licence to be a bit more creative. It's just far too predictable which plays into the opponents hands.

Could be there defensive right has been identified as their weak link. Poor player, or not fully fit/struggling player who may crumble. It can be a numbers game.

It's good when players are tested by conditions. Otherwise it's akin to indoor carpet bowls, like they have at the emirates etc

Thought we edged that one! Good football at times from us and Southend kept giving us the ball back or we were stronger in midfield.

Again we do look toothless up front! Chances came and we just didn't take them!

Definitely a good point there, esp given our away form and their home form.

Best team good passing shit lack of onfield captaincy in terms of seeing where the space for openings lay and sorry Rowe but from that point of view considering your experience 2/10. Mc Cullough 8 midfield Houghton 4 midfield .. Whiteman MISSED midfield !

10 games left, including 6 home games, to get 3 wins? And 5 of those 10 teams are currently below us... easy peasy... :chair:

I hope you are right bjw.
Yes three wins from ten games sounds easy enough doesn't it, until you look back at only one win in the last dozen games or so.
I do think (hope) we can do it though.
Ten draws ( a point per game?) would be good enough as well, surely we can manage that.
