Morning All,
Every year local charity Eve Merton hosts a legends game at the Keepmoat. This year it's a little different when a team of Rovers and Leeds legends do battle.
It's being held at the Keepmoat on 3rd June and as ever there will be lots to do before the games as it is a family day with lots of kids rides/stall etc in and around the ground.
Presently I can not give you the names of confirmed DRFC legends as the club are assisting the charity with this but from my side I can confirm I have got Brighty and Paul Green to play.
Brighty played a few years ago for the charity and has wanted to come back to his 'home' and play at the Keepmoat again.
Greeny as you know is still playing at Crewe, he has not featured for the charity before but will be making a return and I am sure lots of fans would love to see him back in the Rovers colours.
I will announce more names as I get them, but if your free on the 3rd June make sure you don't miss out on a cracking day and cheers the legends onto victory as you did 25th May 2008.

Stick this on the Leeds forum, you'll get no end of Donny whites clamouring for tickets.

Looking for revenge no doubt.

Brian Stock and the man himself James Hayter agreed to play, I'll keep updating as and when on players who are turning out in the red and white hoops again
