Was reading the fanzine yesterday (excellent issue, by the way, if you don't have a copy yet and there are some left I'd definitely recommend it) and in the season review one of the questions was what was the highlight of the season. The obvious answers were the games at Arsenal & Blackburn, but unfortunately I missed both games so for me it was Ebbsfleet in the FA Cup. Always good to see Rovers bang a few goals in (particularly this season when it's been largely slim pickings in the opposition area), and especially after being 2 nil down approaching first half injury time.
Anyone else got any slightly alternative highlights of the season?

This could be tough one.
The hammering of Southend with a Ben Whiteman hat-trick was a good week

It's quite simple; there are no alternatives; if we'd played as well as we did at Blackburn and Arsenal, for even half a season, we'd have eaten the league.

Yes, for me the season memory was the Emirates experience. The build up, the travel on the supporters coach, the wow factor of the stadium, the fantastic Witherspoon's pub full of Rovers fans before the game.
Fearing a hammering we grew into the game with both Kongolo and May contributing to a very good performance.
Full of hope after the game, its a pity it didn't materialise into as good a season as that game suggested.

Arsenal game for me too.

Think we helped Wenger make his mind up!

The completely undeserved equaliser at Scunny was decent!

That was probably my highlight too aside from the Emirates and beating Blackburn.
