I wonder where the interviews will be held; my guess is some plush hotel in the countryside somewhere; maybe near Harrogate.
-
Bawtry fish bar would be better for many as only 1 gets the job........
others may as well have a damn good dinner.....................
see who likes mushy peas .......any say no thanks to them..........they can bugger off ...lol
ps. mind you.............i know Gavin likes Nandos...........so not too far from the Keepmoat.

-
Nando’s peas are dog turd

Obviously going to be Biscuit Billy's.

Yes, I've noticed one or two of them with a dent in the back of their head from the chair they were hit with

They avoid taking them when it's happy hour these days.

The job is Michael Owen's in that case.

Raggytash source, sounds like something you should be using to spice up a pork chop!

It's more like a Gentleman's Relish.

Now that conjures up unwelcome mental images...

They shouldn't take long , I've heard that only 8 have applied up until Friday.

There’s a lot more than that.

You don't believe that rubbish about 50 applying in the first 12 hours .
I think someone was having a laugh at the presses expense.
They might have had a few more over the weekend .

Every managerial job in the football league gets 50+ applicants when they become available.

Yes they do. We had 8 applicants before 9am on Tuesday morning.
-
How many of those 8 could be classed as plausible though.
-
Well all the applications are in now; I wonder who the first interview is with, and where it will be held. My guess is that if it's McCall or Grayson, it'll be held in some plush hotel somewhere; if it's Mark Cooper, it'll be held at Rhino's in Bentley, with BB on the door to keep the riff-raff out.
-
150 applicants. Take out the Virgin Train season tickets that's close to our average crowd.
-
8.

Has there been any official comment as to howwhen an appointment could be expected ?

They said they hoped to have them in place in the next three weeks, that was last week. I reckon they'll shortlist this week, interview early next week and announce on the 21st.

So redfern has been appointed Liverpool ladies manger and rosler has got a job in Sweden so that’s two more we can rule out
-
Fair play to Neil Redfearn. He's found a niche for a much quicker route to the top.

Instead of a boot room I wonder whether they have a heels room.

RA, you really need to ask?

NEWS | Rovers remain on course to appoint a manager before the start of pre-season training after drawing up a shortlist of candidates.
Interested applicants had until 5pm on Monday June 11 to apply, with a good selection of candidates for the Rovers board to choose from.
Interviews for the role will be carried out from Friday June 15, with a decision likely the following week before the players return for the start of pre-season training on Monday June 25.
-
I wonder how many are on the shortlist
-
Less than a long list :chair:
-
I wonder how many are on the shortlist
I've heard Warwick Davis has applied, so that's one.
-
I wonder how many are on the shortlist
This is purely a guess Filo, but I would say 8; one in the morning and one in the afternoon over 4 working days, and a decision made late on Wednesday afternoon; then the announcement could be made on Thursday, which is usually the Press day. All speculation of course.

We like good educated speculation!
