Would have been fantastic watching Ronaldo Pepe and co have a good old cry on the pitch. Even hope Suarez and Uruguay do them and thats saying something

Portugal are terrible - Pepe and Carvalho are accidents waiting to happen. That said, the Iran penalty yesterday was an absolute joke.

Not quite true Foxbat; I think you'll find most of us wanted Iran to win because they were massive underdogs.
As regards to Ronaldo being the best player in the world, that's just a subjective opinion.

I see your point but Iran spoiled their cause for me by taking the cheating a bit too far. Screaming for penalties until they got one , trying to get Ronaldo booked everytime he touched one if their players, again until they did. There is something on Yahoo about their fans making loads of noise outside the Portugal players hotel the night before the game in the hope of stopping them sleeping.
All a bit much really.
As you say , best player is very subjective, though I can't see anyone surpassing his performance against Spain.
But it's not over yet , we shall see.

I remember Ronaldo very happy to get a club mate sent off in a World Cup game. He would never dive to get a penalty of course.😉
