The problem for broadcasters is that they don't get good viewing figures for these highlights packages.

Not even in hd

they do from me, I watch every week - not for the comments nor punditry, just to see all the goals..

Since The Football League Show presented by Manish Bhasin finished on BBC1 the standard of lower league coverage has nose dived.
IMO
-
I agree with you, now it has gone to a TV channel with no football experience what do ever
-
Most highlights are available on Youtube now soon after the games, so these highlights shows are largely obsolete. Most football fans would rather just watch their own team's goals rather than sit through an hour of Steve Claridge analysing off-the-ball movement from The Likes Of Doncaster. Not that we ever got that much coverage from him anyway, but we do in the extended highlights online, which is another reason less and less people are watching. If there was a good highlights programme with decent pundits I might watch anyway, but there hasn't been for a few years now. ITV used to have a good system with a decent show on the weekend and local highlights and discussion in midweek.
-
Yes it used be on a Sunday if my mind serves me right
-
If it's the same as last season Sky show all the goals, yes I know some of you wouldn't touch Sky with a barge pole

Disagree, I watch this only for the goals and not for any punditry..

don't think this quest channel does HD we put the volume up and the sound doesn't increase always crapp sound
-
Didn't like C5 coverage to start with, but the mind boggles about Quest & what the format & presenters will be like.
Edit: according to Quest website, it's still Colin Murray.
-
I didn’t mind the c5 coverage last season. Think they could choose a lot better pundits though... I do like to watch the football league show followed by match of the day on a Saturday night
-
Quest.... It sounds like the sort of channel that would broadcast Alan Partridge’s inner city sumo!
-
Do they have any On Demand catch-up service with Quest?
