i'm sure I suggested this some years ago and had it poo pooed as something that could not be done because of centreplates contract.
Glad to see its something they are trying as it'll hopefully be a success and rolled out across the rest of the stands.
This and the family area in the away stand is something where I cannot help but have pride in the club and the owners as it is far and away better than anything you get at so called bigger clubs.
I just hope the street food is not your typical burger vans that you get at the fair ground

Great news - I may be wrong here but I thought the catering contract was 10 years (it may have been 15 - can't remember for certain) so if the 10 years is correct it'd now be up and may have paved the way for this - or it may be in addition to it - either way it's good news!

It's something we've been discussing for a long time. Over the last few seasons there have been incremental changes and improvements to the BVB and it's immediate surroundings.
We can't currently do it at every game but little by little we are getting there. This will be the first opportunity to showcase some of what the club have managed to reach agreement on and if successful we can do more and go bigger!
The background is that it stemmed out of the initial 'In Rovers We Trust' culture and developed from fans forums and the Supporters Board. The club would love some feedback from this initiative.

I think it's a really good idea. The Paul Dickov at city thing could be taken on with rovers legends such as duggie and Leo fortune west being interviewed in front of the fans. Both live locally and would uncountably get a warm welcome.

I hope they drop the 'Interview a player' in the BVB before a match. Whilst it sounds a good idea in principle, no one could hear the damn interview anyway.
