Title: This time tomorrow
Post by: Rich_The_Conisbrough_Rover on August 03, 2018, 04:44:33 pm
We shall know the outcome of our first game in the 18/19 season, let’s hope we have a good one and can challenge for a big promotion push. We’ve got some good players in the squad and if (touch wood) we stay fairly injury free we should be able to challenge for a top 6 finish.

We have some good players in the first 11 after that we are struggling as seen at Grimsby and united both second half

The thing to remember though is that we won’t be making nine changes at half time.
There are plenty of good players on the bench who could make a telling contribution if called upon.

Aye, I can. I didn't spend months crying about the budget, just a bang average manager who wasn't getting the best out of his players.

Hopefully we do well this year and there will be some egg on face on here.

I really don’t know what to expect, and for some reason I’m quietly optimistic that we’ll do better than a lot of people are tipping us to do. Maybe it’s the buzz of the new season being upon us.

It’s not the deepest or best squad we’ve ever had but it is what it is. Moaning about it won’t change it, so let’s support McCann and hope he can be the first Rovers manager in quite a few years to get the team punching above their weight.

Reading the forum over the last couple of months, more and more people are expressing that opinion.
