Title: Midfield trio

I really like our new formation of 3 midfield combative operators who can all get their foot in and are not going to be bullied in a full blooded encounter - the 3 are all skilful too and good on the ball & not afraid to get shots off from distance rather than trying to walk it in playing pedestrian Football - Rowe, Kane & Whiteman all gave pace & guile and rotate cleverly the holding role rather than just having 1 holding player who never gets over the halfway line - thank you Grant McCann you’ve only been here for 2 games and I’m enjoying it for the first time in years rather than attending games out of a sense of duty

There can be no underestimating the impact Kane had on that 3!

I Can’t remember a better debut from a midfielder, teenager  or not than Herbie Kane yesterday - always being available, wanting the ball & not shirking tackles in fact going in hard but fair on a number of occasions - he was streets ahead the best player on the park & my man of the match by a mile

How does Henderson get in the Liverpool side before this guy????

I’m sure if Henderson came down to league 1 he’d also be the best player on the pitch
