Southall and Noteman, don’t think too many would pick those two.
Yes Southall was one of the best keepers in Europe without question but that was 10 years before he landed on the Belle Vue turf. He used to go down in instalments making saves.
As for Noteman well a trier if ever there was one but I will never forget that glaring miss at Prenton Park in the Northern final of the LDV trophy. Probably cost us a chance of going to Wembley 1989 or 1990 I think it was.

Certainly is, Elliot is good lad who was regular home and away in the late 80’s and 90’s.

I questioned his Southall choice on Twitter, basically he had a soft spot for Everton when introduced to football at a young age, so a bit of a hero of his !
