Has improved massively since his time with us, thought he was going to be another prospect that slipped through the cracks, fair play to him

Which crack did he slip through? - he was only on loan....

Yep I know, I never said he was ours - was referring to how many young footballers don’t make it after going out on loan

He's done well, think he has benefited from Sunderland's relegations in that he has got good quality game time.

Essentially on loan to league one (Sunderland wont be in this division long) but staying with his club and what he knows.
