Title: Dingles game
Post by: Padge_DRFC on November 06, 2018, 07:00:43 pm
Seen somewhere that the initial 2500 have nearly gone before general sale? Presumably if that goes there will be more available?

Aye, they have if the ticket site is accurate (and you'd imagine it will be), f**king better be more though.

Described as our "initial allocation" so I presume they will add another Block if the first lot has gone

Still showing 270 left though !

Can get 5800 in that stand. Nothing to worry about

Can’t see us taking 90% of our home fans then. Having said that I’ve got 8 coming who haven’t been all season. Majority for the day on the beer. Let’s hope the day isn’t ruined by those 90 minutes

And let's hope it's not ruined by those only going for a day on the beer like Rotherham was for some.

They were turfed back to Donny before half 10.

Thing is, most will get turfed to Metrodome for a drink. Yet Barnsley come to Donny year on year & get free reign of the town. Double standards.

Probably because Barnsley is a small poxy town centre with not many places to go, just like rotherham  , Donny is huge in comparison, with plenty of places to go, and can easily accommodate hundreds of footy fans. Kinda like sheffield, where we don't have a problem

Well on the sales front we haven’t reached 400 yet.

Someone's been spouting utter rubbish about these sales. I phoned the ticket office today, and the girl said they've only sold around 400.

Talk about fake news.

According to the club web page there are less than 300 left of the original allocation

Probably just because of recent results.

Probably a few in the same boat as me who are waiting for any of the players to look like they have any interest at all before they are willing to travel again. As sad as it may, after driving to Charlton on Saturday which was on the back of driving to Accrington and Coventry, probably our three sorriest away performances of the season I need some time away, it’s not normal to keep ploughing your time and money into something that leaves you feeling so angry and disappointed, and if we turn up at oakwell in similar form they will get 3 or 4 and that fills me with a dread that I don’t even want to think about

Theirs over 20 boozers int Tarn centre, but if I was a Pikey coming on train I’d drink in Mexborough, Rotherham, Or Chapeltown. As I do when we play at yours.

I'd be in Old Number 7 and Arcade Alehouse myself though I would have called at Imperial Club Mex for starters
However Nov 24th already earmarked for a Strike day. When I last looked on a Strike day people travelling from Donny to Barnsley and return would have been able to get there and back without any disruption
However for those heading for say Thorne Stainy etc you would have to get the Train to Donny and Bus it home from there as the last Train to Thorne North is about 13 11 or 14 11 and there are no Trains from Thorne South either going or coming back
