The post put out by the DRFC Facebook page originally had Crawford in the starting 11 and on the bench. It’s since been changed and now shows Kane starting and the reporter on Radio Sheffield said the same

Now we can think about 'resting' players. Kane, Copps, May off at some point. Keep Marquis on he needs the practice.

We’re clearly better but not 5-0 better. This is the clinical finishing we’ve missed the past month when dominating games.

Only Paul Heffernan with 10 in 2006-07 has scored more cup goals in a season than Alfie's 6 this season (so far)

I've just looked at the main stats sites Dutch, and once again they're not including EFL trophy scores, which takes Alfie's total down to 4 including tonight's goals.

Come on, Rovers. No sitting back in the second half. Continue with the ruthlessness shown in the first 45 minutes.

9 of Paul Heffernan's goals in 2006-07 were in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, so I have tried to be consistent in my stats

If we win by anything less than 10-0, it's a sign of a downturn in our season.

I appreciate that Dutch, but is there the possibility that the stats for the EFL trophy were included officially at that time, and no longer are?.

Marquis did have a go at a section of the West stand that had been jeering him. One of those nights where not much he did went right and he was getting more and more frustrated with himself. Pleased he got one in the end.

Alfie was unplayable tonight. I know Chorley aren’t a top side, but the movement from all of our front three was top notch and exactly how this formation should work
