Team for tonight:
Lawlor
Mason
Anderson
Butler
Andrew
Whiteman
Kane
Blair
May
Marquis
Coppinger
Subs:
Marosi
Rowe
Crawford
Beestin
Taylor
Amos
Blaney
-
You sure Kane is playing?
-
Twitter said Crawford but noticed it has him as sub 2
-
The post put out by the DRFC Facebook page originally had Crawford in the starting 11 and on the bench. It’s since been changed and now shows Kane starting and the reporter on Radio Sheffield said the same
-
I'm going for 3:0 tonight.... Marquis with 2 and Blair the third...
Come on you reds... :scarf:
-
That’s a side which should be too strong for Chorley, second time around..
-
have we scored yet ? :)
-
Yes
-
yes!
-
1-0 Alfie May
-
Only Paul Heffernan with 10 in 2006-07 has scored more cup goals in a season than Alfie's 6 this season (so far)
-
Charlton 1 up v Mansfield
-
Israel 1 up against Scotland........
-
Yesssss! 2-0.
-
2-0
-
One hand on the cup... :)
-

-
Matty Blair
-

-

Bloody hell... Can we tack this onto our League GD please?
-
Alfie gets another!
-
Herbie's on fire!
-

:scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:
-
Could do with Marquis hitting the onion bag....
-
5
-
Alfie hat trick
-
So happy for him!
-
well done Alfie :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:
-
Contender for quickest hat trick?? Leo got a quick one v Orient a few years back.
-
29 mins for Alfie. Didnt fowler get one in 11?
-
Hayter got a hat trick in 4 mins. Not for us though!
-
For us? I think Leo's was around 14 mins??
-
I’m getting bit worried................we haven’t scored for 9 minutes!
-
Now we can think about 'resting' players. Kane, Copps, May off at some point. Keep Marquis on he needs the practice.
-
Also get some more game time for Rowe, Beestin perhaps.?
-
Have we got a Darlington result here ?
Could say this game has been a piece of Cake Chorley even have a sub called Eccles think they will have to pick up the crumbs
-
We’re clearly better but not 5-0 better. This is the clinical finishing we’ve missed the past month when dominating games.

ROVERS HALF TIME SUBS | Tommy Rowe and Paul Taylor come on for Ben Whiteman and James Coppinger at the break.
-
just checked the stats on the Charlton game as we know they lead 1-0
they don't look that bad for Mansfield so hope of an equaliser ?

I've just looked at the main stats sites Dutch, and once again they're not including EFL trophy scores, which takes Alfie's total down to 4 including tonight's goals.
-
Come on, Rovers. No sitting back in the second half. Continue with the ruthlessness shown in the first 45 minutes.

9 of Paul Heffernan's goals in 2006-07 were in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, so I have tried to be consistent in my stats

If we win by anything less than 10-0, it's a sign of a downturn in our season.

"We'll stat how we want, we'll stat how we wa-ant, we're Donny Rovers, we'll..."

I’ll remember that comment, BRR!

I appreciate that Dutch, but is there the possibility that the stats for the EFL trophy were included officially at that time, and no longer are?.
-
Daft. Pointless.
-
My mate Drysdale again....
That explains it. What a tw@t Dazzling Dazza is.
-
Yep two bookings
He's bloody thick then.... 5:0 up, you should be able to stand on two feet...
-
Well that's bonkers! Looks like Mason playing CB on Saturday then.
-
Doesn't the red count for the next cup match?
-
Not sure, there's new rules but, I get the feeling reds still count. I hope not mind.
-
Either way, absolute stupidity from Anderson, when he knows we are already down to our last 2 cb's!
-
Anderson red carded?
Apparently for foul language to the referee, according to the BBC. What a plonker!
-
Marquis missed penalty

No. It looked like he slipped and brought the Chorley player down as he was about to get away
-
Better he misses now than on Saturday but I hope he sticks a chance away before the final whistle.
-
Marquis misses a penalty! :(
-
Cow's arse and banjo spring to mind!
-
We’ve just got to win this second half!
-
6
-
May again
-
Marquis will be sweating now, one more for Alfie and he's joint top scorer.
-
7
-
Marquis 7
-
Marquis must be choking inside wondering how May can get 4 to his none! Come on John, stick one in!
-
Ha ha, bout time!
-
When we last score 7 then anyone??
-
If Alfie got six goals would he get two balls?
-
When we last score 7 then anyone??
Probably the 7-5 vs reading in 82?
-
According to BBC, again, no celebrating by JM, and appeared to be taunting Rovers’ fans. Surely not?
-
When we last score 7 then anyone??
7-0 FAC Prel round, versus Crook Town, 1999, also last time a player scored 4 in a game for us (Glen Kirkwood)
-
Cow's arse and banjo spring to mind!
Gerra grip
-
If Alfie got six goals would he get two balls?
"Alfie has only got one ball...."
-
What about 8 then ?
-
What about 8 then ?
The record Darlo 10-0 win in 1964
-
Lighten up, Dickos. Have you had a sense of humour transplant?
-
Charlton 5 nil in end.
-

Probably got some grief for missing the penalty. Gave some back?

Yeah, could be, DBR.

guessing i'd say he has only scored 60% max of his penalties I've never criticized him but stating a fact
-
Marquis did have a go at a section of the West stand that had been jeering him. One of those nights where not much he did went right and he was getting more and more frustrated with himself. Pleased he got one in the end.
Alfie was unplayable tonight. I know Chorley aren’t a top side, but the movement from all of our front three was top notch and exactly how this formation should work
