Post by: phil old leake on December 03, 2018, 10:31:40 am
Didn’t go to the  charlton game but watched the highlights
The save of lawlor was top drawer

I agree with McCann if that had been lloris or de gea you’ld be bored of seeing it

It was excellent, but I wish he would come and catch the ball something like the Solihull goalkeeper against Blackpool, now he made it look easy every cross.

That's Lawlor's greatest weakness for me, being wrooted to his line and not commanding the 6 yard box. Other than the odd dropped ball, he has done OK.

it's his distribution that worry's me the most..I appreciate that playing out from the back is the way to go in the modern game, but he has to be more selective in doing it..Trying to thread a ball to his own player who is facing him while he has an opposition player stood next to him is asking for trouble..He did it twice at Barnsley and we lost possession deep in our own half twice...

It might well be lol, but if that was in the Premier league or champions league we would be hearing about it for years
