Remainder of ooc players are:

James Coppinger.
Luke McCullough
 Mitchell Lund
Marko Marosi
Liam Mandeville.
Andy Butler.
Tommy Rowe.
Joe Wright.
Tyler Garratt.
Alfie Beestin.
Alfie May.
Louis Jones.
Niall Mason.
Danny Andrew.
Ian Lawlor.
Jacob Fletcher.
Cody Prior.
Morgan James.
James Morris.
 Issam Ben Khemis
Paul Taylor.

Of these I would give -
Copps, Butler 1 more year
Wright, Rowe, Mason, Lawlor, Andrew 2 more years

May, Marosi, Beestin ???

The rest have a lot to do before the end of the season, except Mandeville, McCullough and Garrett who have probably already played their last games for us.

Also, it is worth mentioning, if we do get promoted we would have to sign some significantly better players so the club are in a difficult position on this subject.
Some of those juniors won’t be on big salaries and will be more than happy to re sign on money similar to what they currently get.

Lund, Mandeville, Garrett,Beestin, Ben Khemis and Taylor and possibly McCullough in my opinion would not be good enough for the Championship.

I thought Matty Blair was out of contract as well? Have I missed an extension for him at some stage?

Isn't Coppinger top of the assists chart? what more does he have to do?!

Blair did sign an extension and is OOC next summer, not this coming one.

Lots of people do still take Copps, and what he does, for granted.
Even on one of his average days there are moments of genius and possible match winning skills.

Paul at the DFP said a lot of people seemed to think he was a free agent come July so you're obviously not the only one!

Matty Blair was on Radio Dee Dar on the day of Bristol Rovers match saying that he has another year on his contract,ie until June 2020

Giving Copps a years contract is not taking him for granted them add to that a top up of another year dependant on games played.

Sorry, I didn't see him in your list of players you'd give another year... Can't even claim it's down to my age, unlike hound. ;)

I'm sure there was an article a week or two ago, or at least a tweet, on DFP explaining that Blair's extension had been triggered in the summer and nobody had reported it until that point.

Aye there was, that tweet was the only reason I knew.

Marosi???  You having a laugh?  Equal first choice keeper and you're unsure we should keep him?

We need to keep 2 of the 3 keepers. I think there will be interest in Marosi so wouldn't be surprised if he went elsewhere.

No laughing matter at all. My reasoning is based on where we intend being in the next season or so and I think Marosi is in the same bracket as the 2 Alfie's. I think we need better for the Championship, that's all and it's just my opinion.

It has to be in the back of the Club's mind when considering some of these players - are they good enough for the next massive step up? Some will be, some will not, it's a conundrum for every team being promoted from this league, as I believe the gap in quality is getting bigger.
