We should not be losing 6 points against a Fleetwood Town side. It's simple we should be beating them. And to conceded 6 goals against them in the 2 games and scoring zero poor. That's at 16_30 today off out to drown my sorrows poor 2 games against this bunch of cod heads.

Man City shouldn’t lose to Palace but they did do.
Things like this happen in football.
-
Now beaten by Leicester! The difference is though, they have plenty of players to bring in, unlike us!
It’s to be hoped Matty is ok, as I would have had him back in today. We need to get back to winning again, ASAP.

Plenty of players, and still lost.

I don’t expect everyone to understand the concept of strength in depth!

Perhaps you should explain it to Pep then Alan.

City would not lose twice 2 Palce shipping in 7 in the 2 games. Iam stating we should not be thrashed in 2 games like a team like these
-
Yet another Bogey side
-
Clearly something about how Fleetwood set themselves up against us that we cannot master. Saying that, we are still six points clear of the buggers.

I think we know all too well at Doncaster Rovers not to write any teams off as "the likes of" Fleetwood!

It's football. One of the possibilities is losing. Please not think ourselves above others because we are not
-
We are better, but we're not brilliant. Everyone knows that. We will lose games because we are not Barcelona....
Imo 7th will be a good finish this season as it's a season too early for us to go up.
-
Hope we manage to scrape in the playoffs.think it will be a tight thing.see what sat game brings but not optimistic.

Not according to GB and the board it isn't.

I think the last two games prove why we should not get to ahead of ourselves as fans. There were many on here after the last run of games writing all of the next 10 teams off and gloating over the mccann doubters at the beginning of the season. I maintain what I posted last which is let's take it a game at a time and hope we make it into the playoffs. Looks like Jan is going to be key over contract talks and what new players will come in to freshen and add competition to the squad

I put it down to how the manager set us up as much as anything, we had plenty of possession but we're absolutely clueless in front of goal, build up play slow & indecisive, crossing balls in when we shouldn't & not doing it when we should have. Another piss easy win for them, getting in behind a slow & clearly not good enough back four, Maddens movement for both made us look amateurish. You can play as much expansive football as you like but there are times when you need to set up better than what we did today & make it difficult for the opposition, we were vulnerable at the back & clueless up top. Make no mistake Fleetwood are a less than average side, but it was an easy day for them today. For us we have a long way to go to have any hope of making the play offs come May. Two or 3 players out there today not good enough for the top end of league 1, & what Taylor is doing on the bench still is beyond me, is he still not fit? Can he not influence a game against average sides like today, if not then get rid & get someone in who can.

We are doing in January.

We are doing what, bringing in someone to replace Taylor, then let's get him off the bench then & put someone on there who actually looks they give a s__t.

They are wrong, we just are not yet strong enough.

Gillingham have beaten Portsmouth twice this season.
I wouldn’t like to suggest that Portsmouth are rubbish because of those results but things like this happen in football.
For the last few matches our defence has been “good enough” but after the game today, apparently they are not.
Maybe we will see a clamouring for Marosi to replace Lawlor.

this is the silly season for football results

obviously form says Rovers will beat the Giils
-
In truth they were nothing special,
no where near, we had most of the play we lost the ball twice and they scored both times, the first was Cummings fault not picking up there striker and giving away a free header then only had 4 attempts and scored 3, the only time we got near was 1 off side and the second one cleared of the line other than that we were a toothless tiger

Are Fleetwood the new Yeovil?

Are Fleetwood the new Yeovil?
Depends how good your sat nav is.😉

Are Fleetwood the new Yeovil?
Yeovil?; it's donkeys' years since they last beat Rovers.
-
I think he is pointing to our first ten games vs Yeovil in the Football League, when we won one in the first ten.
-
Our Gillingham record isn’t great either
