f**king embarrassing. A group of pissed up I'd guess no older than 18 year olds spending half the game calling Evans a nonce (for what reason is anyone's guess), calling him a rapist which he has been cleared of, and then the second half spent calling Cairns a nonce as well.
I'd imagine these are the same people that decide every keeper we come up against away from home is also a nonce. What the f**k is wrong with people?

Look at this for proper support.
No win for two months, in the relegation zone and a couple of days before Christmas.

Just asking like, is that supposed to be impressive.

For a small club on it's harris, yes.

It is very good support to be fair, better than rovers could muster especially with the sit down brigade spoiling it.

The stand up brigade at the front are the people who ruin it

Some people have no option other than to sit down at games.

It's selfish petulance on both sides, idiots who choose to stand at the front and idiots who chose to sit at the back.

A pair of over 30's hardly covering themselves in glory at Fleetwood also, absolutely w**kered they were spouting their embarrassing bile.

Its what fans do. Its the same as calling luke mcormick a murderer, something hes also never been convicted.
Its a sad indicment on football these days that a significant minority would rather drink to excess and abuse oppostion players and the officials than support their team by actually supporting them.
Its rhe same at all levels of the mens game as well, which makes it all the worst.
-
I’m guessing the idiots spouting at Alex Cairns had no idea that he’s a Donny lad and that his younger brother was one of those killed in the horrible RTC at Conisborough the other year ... numptys.
-
And lets not forget the group of people who spent 90 minutes screaming paedo at rotherham fans, and then defend it as banter. Awful to be associated with them.

Hundreds of people in that crowd will have been directly affected by the paedophilia that took place. That away day marked a turning point for me and was the start of me not going much. Up til then I hadn't missed a game for 12 years.

nonce is the go to insult with morons. After what was meant to be harmless banter in the L1 fb page, I was referred to as a strange nonce! , they are so juvenile they have no meaning of the Seriousness of said allegations.. very sad really...

Yep, it was utterly utterly appalling that day. I barely even think about the result when that game gets brought up, the behaviour of a significant number of fans was embarrassing to be around. Grown men with their own kids next to them spitting "paedo" with sheer rage at every opportunity.
There seem to be some idiots at every single away game now, it does put you off going.

Always makes me smile when we play a notts or Derbyshire side and the shouts of scab by kids with no idea of what it actually meant

It's selfish petulance on both sides, idiots who choose to stand at the front and idiots who chose to sit at the back.
Aye, them selfish people who have to sit down...how dare they want to have a good view of the match, even if they've paid just as much as anyone else to watch it??

It's common courtesy pal, if you want to sit, then sit at the front so it doesn't impact the enjoyment of those wanting to stand.

So common courtesy only applies to those wanting to sit? Don't those wanting to stand in front of others and 'impact their enjoyment' have to show any common courtesy to them then? Pal.
-
If it’s a seating area your supposed to sit. End of.
So until they bring back standing enclosures those that wish to stand should only do so at the discretion of the stewards and have the common courtesy not to do so if it obstructs those who are sat down.
IS THAT NOT REASONABLE. Yes it is imo.

I'll bet most grounds would get away with only one, or two stands at most with seats in them.
I don't think I've ever looked at a seat number on the ticket at an away match. Having said that if I was stood in front of someone sat down I would move, but the problem never arises. Seems to be a big issue at Doncaster though reading this forum.

To be fair it's not a massive issue, on the whole those that do want to sit go to the front.
There's a handful of vocal moaners on here though who seem to enjoy the sterilisation of football, and will only be happy when the atmosphere is like the crucible or wimbledon.
I often wonder why they go to football, if they hate the experience so much.

The atmosphere at a lot of grounds is really poor nowadays. If people can't put up with a bit of banter and swearing they shouldn't go. I have to bite my tongue everyday, everywhere, because you're always offending some pc snowflake. Going to a match is the only escape there is. At some ground they even have grassing phone numbers to text, unbelievable!

You said the people who want to sit down should move. It's the ones who want to stand up who should move to where they're not inconveniencing anyone, isn't it? That's the courteous thing to do.

It's not selfish to need to sit down, it's selfish to sit on the back row knowing full well people congregate at the back to stand, which is common acceptance in every football ground in the country.
Equally, people who stand at the front are selfish t**ts.
It's not a difficult concept.

This looks like it could be a massive topic on both the Rangers and Celtic forums. Nobody is sat down

Which makes a total mockery of all seater stadiums.
Why is everyone allowed to stand. Health & Safety.
If someone gets killed there will be a lot of questions to answer.

Who's going to stop them? 40k fans versus a few hundred stewards? It'd be a waste of time and would only cause more aggro than leaving them be.

And I highly doubt there's any people whinging on their forums about it.
They are more bothered about the football.

When you say on their Harris do you mean the manager?

It's got nothing to do with Health and Safety. There is absolutely no evidence to suggest that all seater stadiums are any safer than standing terraces or similar. The most dangerous time in a stadium is when people are leaving and I fail to see how any legislation can resolve that one.
Standing in a seated area isn't illegal. In fact the legislation accounts for the fact that people will stand in those areas and allows them to do so at 'times of high excitement'.
No, the problem these days is a customer service issue and the current government review should lead to a change in the existing legislation. Meanwhile the managed standing areas that exist, in Cardiff for example, and the structural changes brought in at Celtic Park, Shrewsbury, Wycombe, and the new Spurs stadium will show the way for when the Government finally realise we have been right all along.
-
I recently attended Celtic Park, the fans love the safe standing area, it creates a great atmosphere and the players acknowledge them in that area after the final whistle.

No, their arse.
