I can't remember which one Crawford's was but whichever that one was, that one.

May’s goal was the catalyst for the whole performance, he watched the ball unflinching under his dimunative size, caring little for anything except putting the right amount of weight on the header to clear the keeper and with enough distance and direction to stop anyone’s attempt to get back and clear it...... a perfectly executed goal...

Just my opinion....

To be fair, I think the nearest Rochdale defender was still on the M62 😀😀

If only May's overhead kick had gone in however that would have been eclipsed by Crawfords attempted chip after a sublime move.

I opted for Goal 3. The first 2 were brilliant without question but I loved the interplay for the Third

Without doubt worked out at Cantley - and what made me chuckle was the celebrations from GM CB and others who I could see were pumped - because I suspect it had gone so well

Will have to watch for that one coming back for a reprise in the future.

How good is it to be disputing which of our 5 goals was the best ?

Copps goal for me.
A superb and quick passage of play ended by a great cross being headed home by a diving 38 year old.
When was the last time Copps scored a header for us.

I voted 5, a great team goal and a wonderful header..

Have a look at the highlights thread - Marquis is involved earlier in the move on the edge of the box and drifts into position unnoticed to score..

Marquis first was delightful and straight off the training field - credit the goal to the players for executing it but I bet Cliff Byrne loved it because no doubt he was the brainchild - having said that a diving header from the legend takes some beating

We scored some brilliant goals today. Crawford's gets my vote as it's such a sweet strike, but beside that - Wilks won that free kick with an absolutely outrageous Zidane turn before being hacked to the ground, brilliant it was!

Having watched all 5 goals on numerous devices from numerous sources at normal speed and in slow motion I can confirm that both May and Copps goals were technically better than the rest,
The free kick was “ put into the right place to put the keeper under pressure “  as stated by Crawford
The Marquis goal was just a case of directing a perfect pass into the net and could have gone anywhere
The 2nd Marquis goal tho good was a goalie error

Copps and May both needed to visualise what they must do to beat the keeper whilst under varying degrees of solitary pressure....
