Using the same logic shown by some in threads on here. Should all labour Mps now lose their seats as the vote was illegal?  :chair:

Yes. Of course there should be by-elections in constituencies affected.

That said, (and this is not to excuse the mistakes Momentum made) the amounts involved are peanuts compared to what the Tories did in 2015.

But there is a massive difference between those two stories and the Leave campaign.

In both the Momentum and the Tory party issue, the problems were accounting errors. Not reporting legal donations and not filing all the expenses.

In the Leave campaign case, they deliberately and illegally poured money into the campaign from the Kremlin.

If you really can't see the difference...

Yes they should.

Right after all these MP's are forced to refight the seats affected by these offences

In a nutshell Wilts you have just shown what is wrong with politics. In particular labour supporters. An inability to admit fault without the "but they do this" argument. To all sides of the spectrum. Man up and admit faults, put them right don't hide behind what someone else does. That's just playground

I think the bit where he said 'Yes they should' right at the start acknowledged the fault. Wanting the Law to be applied equally isn't hiding behind anything.

I really do think that some positive action by Labour at this moment would get them the 'Moral high ground' they at this moment are in opposition it's not like possibly losing some seats would put them out of Government.
Sadly we are talking about Politics and Politicians so I don't see it happening.

Absolutely.  As should the referendum be rerun
