another great commitment to charity by the club!

Not a great fan of comic relief, just seems to be a load of z list 'celebrities' trying to raise their profile to maybe get a hotel advert :chair:
-
Who’s going to count the fans wearing the red nose? And when are we expected to wear them, the whole game or as we enter the stadium?

Does this apply to Barnsley fans too?

Why not indeed.
They probably won’t know about it unless we do.

Prior to kick off, Rovers aim to take one of the biggest red nose photographs ever, with a co-ordinated red nose photo across all four stands of Keepmoat Stadium. For every person wearing a red nose, the club will donate £1 to Comic Relief. Whether you’re a Doncaster Rovers or Barnsley fan we urge you to bring your red nose to our match and wear it with pride.

So I guess that Barnsley will be putting the message on their official site as well and maybe it will get to their equivalent of this site for fans to see.

I know the guys who run their message board. I've already passed it on.

I’d imagine so, plus I reckon that it will be tweeted with Barnsley tagged who will retweet etc. I’m sure the Dingles who skulk around here will only be too happy to share!
Whatever people’s thoughts of Comic Relief it’s still a great gesture by the club - hopefully it’ll be cold, everyone will have a red nose and the club will just estimate at £10,000!

I remember Donnywolf chasing someone round the Belle Vue bar on a previous Red Nose Day event after someone tried to pinch his 'false conk'. I felt sorry for the culprit because how was he to know Wolfie had been on the Whisky the night before? Mind you, it must have hurt!
-
Ha ha - it was true BUT it was Leffe my favourite Beer I had been on - because - as I always say Whisky is one of the 3 drinks I cant s-t-a-n-d
Guinness is the second and of course Guinness with Whisky in it is the third !
-
If there are any Barnsley fans who want a red nose at the game, just come and see me,I'll give you one for free. :silly:
On a serious note, well done Rovers, another great gesture to the community. :clapping: :scarf:
