I would think at least 8k prob more as they can buy a season ticket for under 50 quid so as woukd have cost 22 for last match a lot will have bought 1

I asked two fans (boy and girl) late teens a question about the chips on offer outside the ground. Both had Wimbledon shirts and scarves on.
The girl was of Asian Indian and X traction from Texas. The lad with her proudly told me that he was a part owner from New York that had loved Wimbledon for years. He must have paid into some share scheme.
I had an interesting conversation for a couple of minutes.
You just never know where spectators will come from.

13000+ they will think they have a realistic chance of the playoffs and a victory against us will be instrumental in achieving that.

Attendance:
    7,404

9,000 minus 7,404 = 1596 who couldn't be bothered to go for free ???

How many of the 9,000 fans bought the season tickets because they were cheap knowing that they wouldn't be able to attend every match?
You also don't know how many are young children that won't be allowed to go on a school night.
It is still far better than they have been getting for some time.

There Forum which I read fo a few days had a Comp which had the Attendance ranging from 7000 to another 13000 - and there were about 100 guesses

Someone however kept pointing out that actual sales were just over 7k and add on our 300 - 400 and you end up with something close

However I cant see why the Season Tickets DONT count towards the Attendance and as such should have given 9000 ish plus us.

All season tickets should be counted as the seat has been sold if the person doest turn up then the club can't sell the seat again.

Maybe they have only counted the fans who actually went to the game which is how I would do it

It varies from club to club as to whether the 'official' attendance given is bums on seats or tickets sold.

As an example, Bradford used to (and may still do) tickets sold as their attendance. Reading do 'bums on seats' as was evident when they had an attendance of 6,700ish for a game during the wild weather period last season.

Once went to a game at Tamworth about 7/8 years ago where we got told the attendance, on the side, about an hour and a half before kick-off, which is another reason why I take attendances with a pinch of salt.

They were either telling porkies or made a pigs ear of the count.
