If there was a General Election tomorrow, which party would you vote for?
I'm assuming we're in England so I'm not including Nationalists or Ulster parties btw.

I don't think Nigel's lot will put many candidates up in a GE. I think they are there to fight the European Parliament elections if we have to have them. They would do very well in those, IMHO.

Without knowing the policies I don't think many could say? They could have vastly different policies to now.

Right at this moment I would struggle to vote for anyone unless I go to a minority party. I seriously think my decision these days would be for the person not the party.

I always Vote in every Election and will do so next time round - but not for her.

Whether you like it or not it’s a choice between Labour and Conservative. While Labour aren’t perfect I cannot see how anybody could vote Conservative right now.

it would be a tough one...I've always voted Tory because I don't believe Socialism can work without putting my kids future and there kids in terrible debt.The one thing I do agree with Mrs Thatcher was when she said "Socialism is a great idea in principle until you run out of other peoples money to pay for it".I also couldn't vote for a Party led by Jeremy Corbyn in any circustances,his foreign policy's are simply frightening to me...
That said I'm totally dissalusioned with the Tory's as well,so without a alternative for me to hang my hat on it's a tough one..In the end I would vote Tory
And that's for one reason only and that's the local Mp..He's a backbencher who works tirelessly on local issues and he's one of the few politicians who has actually made a difference to local peoples lives with his work and the things he's achieved,and on a personal level he stepped in and forced the council to backtrack on funding cuts for children with special needs when I wrote to him about it as that effected me personally ..I don't always agree with him and we have regular conversations on e-mail about politics but he does have the decency to engage with anybody even if they don't agree and regardless of political affiliations,when I needed help he supported me and put pressure on the people I couldn't get to and saved the day.So I couldn't ask for more than that...

I have voted for Labour every time, but I think I've had enough with it.
Considering just not voting at all next time around. It's a completely pointless exercise.

I also worry about the Blairites weedling their way back in. Someone mentioned their foriegn policies - not sure which ones are worrying?
The Tories are the only party right now that could win, and that would mean either Boris or JRM as PM. How anyone can entertain either of those abusive lying f**kwitts I have no idea.
The only thing that could change my vote is if Labour do plug the second referendum. I voted remain, still would, but what terrifies me more than anything is having a trade deal with the scum US. However, I think any referendum should be about which deal we accept, remaining not being on the agenda, been there done that.

I don't agree that Johnson or Rees-Mogg will be the next Tory leader. Rees-Mogg won't stand - I think he sees himself as a Kingmaker, not a King. Johnson is too unpopular with MPs to make the final two.
The next Tory leader will be Hunt, Javid or Gove. Although I think May will be gone very soon now and I wouldn't be surprised if we have an interim PM. Probably David Liddington, although he won't stand in the Leadership contest.

I've had to turn off the TV because that stupid woman Sturgeon in on. I don't like Michael Gove and I certainly don't want him as PM, but I was amused by his performance in one of Brexit Debates. He was being very courteous to Labour MPs and being extremely rude and sarcastic towards the SNP. I thought that clown Blackford was going to punch Gove at one point.
What really boiled my p**s was Sturgeon blaming May for triggering Article 50. No, you stupid haggis-muncher, Parliament voted for it overwhelmingly. If only they could be so decisive now!

Please spare us the cult of Jess Phillips. Just because she's a foul-mouthed Brummie people think she's the embodiment of the working class. She isn't. She's as middle class as the rest of them, apart from Rees-Mogg, who is more upper class than anyone.
The best thing I've read about her was an article that described her as "The Honourable Member for Jess Phillips." She's an attention seeker and exists for self-promotion.

I read the Daily Mail only for the same reason that I look down the pan after doing a shit. I came to the conclusion a good while ago that Corbyn is a Putin apologist. That was from reading around stuff myself and coming to the realisation that I had never once heard or read Corbyn criticise Putin. About anything. Ever.

Me neither. My late mother used to have the Daily Mail. Apart from the Sarah Vine column, which seemed to be a decent parody of Private Eye, I thought it was bobbins. Even the sports coverage was poor. The TV listings were useful, but I can get these online.
