Yep, special. Issue 99 of your award-winning fanzine is on sale this Saturday and among the 40 pages of frankly excellent content from our usual contributors we also have a very special exclusive interview with a former Rovers hero.
We’re keeping quiet on who until tomorrow so we can keep the exclusive, but safe to say it offers a fascinating insight and as editor I’m really excited about it.
Here’s what else is in this issue and where you can find it (https://popularstand.wordpress.com/2019/03/28/popular-stand-issue-99-on-sale-at-doncaster-rovers-vs-walsall)

Had a couple of people ask who the interview is with... we'll tell folk at 4pm
-
It will be worth the wait I guess - and will encourage me to pay at least double for this
Program sorry Award winning Fanzine tomorrow for sure !
-
So, as per the updated title of this thread, issue 99 of the fanzine on sale tomorrow includes an exclusive interview with Sean O'Driscoll - his first on his time at Rovers since leaving the club.
Definitely well worth £1 of your money as it's truly fascinating stuff.
-
£3 given my enjoyment of hi time in charge of us AND he is a Wolfie !

That's some coup Glen. It should also boost sales hopefully although I expect a decent crowd tomorrow.

Great news, really looking forward to this one now. Nice work Glenn!
-
Did you get your 100th issue request to the club approved? 😉
-
I will have to make sure I'm there early enough to pick up a copy! Always do of course, but this is as good a guest interview as you could get I reckon. Brilliant stuff.
-
Oooooer can’t wait to have a SOD in the old inbox
-
Good news for us, bad news for you.
Despite printing more than we’ve ever printed before we’ve completely sold out of issue 99.
For those who missed out we’ll make the option of receiving a PDF copy available to you.
Look out for messages about that tonight/tomorrow
-
Fantastic read Glen as always, the interview with So'D was great. Thank God we weren't a few minutes later!
-
Great read and a real coup.
Without spoiling it for anyone...I still haven’t got a clue what he was teaching players to do when he was here - just thankful it worked!
-
Superb interview with Sir Sean. A fascinating insight into the man and his thinking process. Well done Glen and if you’ve held any back from the gent then let’s have more with his permission of course. 👏

I wasn’t able to get one today so interested in getting a pdf version please.
-
Yeah, I didn't get to the ground til a few mins before kick off so didn't get one. A number 99 sized hole in my collection...
-
A great read Glen. I read it from start to finish barely putting it down.
I am happy to give mine to anyone that missed out. I can take it to Valley Parade next week.
-
Thanks Glen
Probably our best ever manager in the modern era
Short termism is the curse of football
-
I'd be interested pls Glen
-
Interested please, Glen!
-
Glen,
I sent a pm, fantastic interview, the best manager I have ever seen at Donny.

For those who haven't seen the other thread.
There's a form on the bottom of this page on our website (https://popularstand.wordpress.com/2019/03/28/popular-stand-issue-99-on-sale-at-doncaster-rovers-vs-walsall/) where you can request a copy of issue 99.

Brilliant interview with SOD and I’d urge anyone who wasn’t able to buy the fanzine to request a pdf copy (and chuck a bit of money in the Popular Stand coffers) on the strength of that interview alone.
I was really disappointed with the manner of his exit and after reading his account even more so, but I’m glad it clearly hasnt dimmed his passion or fondness when he recalls the good times with us.

I thought the Richie Wellens bit was both funny and enlightening.
Maybe not quite always as nasty as some say.
