We will be in the East Stand not behind the goal.
That means you should be able to buy cans and bottles at about £3:60 and I don't think that they take cards. You are far better getting a drink before you go in.🙂

I've only ever taken the coach to Bradford previously, however I no longer live in Donny so I'll be driving. Done some research on where to park and came across this (https://www.pulse2.co.uk/news/local-sport/new-matchday-parking-restrictions-around-valley-parade/) article published today.

The road I was intending on parking (Midland Road) will have parking restrictions, but not sure if this will be enforced by the time we play them next week. So just a heads up for anyone else planning on parking up near the stadium.

I've noticed that recently Idler, that the stand behind the goal isn't used for away fans anymore. Is there a reason for this?

I think that it's probably to save costs on crowd management and also there is a bar in there so they might make a bit more.
Don't park in the Forster Square retail parks. Number plate recognition will cost £70 I think if you overstay.
3 hours limit.
Some park on Queen's Rd. and some on King's Rd. but both get busy. There are multi-stories in the city centre but I'm not sure on prices. The Broadway shopping centre is about £3:50 all day on a week-end and a car park almost opposite just a bit cheaper.

We really should be taking 1.500 don’t you think. Crikey it’s less than 40 miles from Doncaster.
Well 41.2 to be precise.

My first Rovers away game was Bradford City. We lost 3-0 and I sat in that wooden stand that burned down.

I'm not going this season so we might have a chance.

Idler as our Bradford mole you have never commented on Bradford Park Avenue they could be just one division below Bradford City next season anything to report . We all knew Harrogate would do a Guiseley this season (down the bottom) but you never know what is around the corner

I don't knock about with any Avenue fans. My mate who I meet for a pint every couple of weeks is a City STH. When they are away he goes to a local club, Guiseley,Thackley,Eccleshill or Park Avenue. I'll ask him on Thursday as He's seen them at least once this season.
There is a rivalry between some fans of each club and if City do go down there will be a Park Avenue minority gloating in the paper.

Harrogate are 6th and likely to make the playoffs.

We all new Harrogate would do a Guiseley? Harrogate as dickos has stated are 6th and they may not get promoted this season but they are an ambitious club and it would not surprise me if the make the Football League in the next couple of years. ( This season i feel would be premature, don’t think they are quite ready for the step up )

There is a difference between making a point and offering a reason, to pulling you apart..  disagreeing doesn’t mean we are having a pop, does it.?

Why folks go and don’t go is their business..

How you then react as the posts you make open you up for further responses..

I never went last Saturday because my car that was promised to be fixed is still in the garage. I will be one of seven going on Saturday though. I'm taking a Leeds and a Huddersfield fan among them. My two sons-in-law who both enjoy a good game and have a soft spot for the Rovers.

Vicar, I don’t know you from Adam, therefore I neither like you nor dislike you.

I disagree with your posts from time to time, but am never abusive to you.

For some reason you conclude I don’t like you, you admit to winding others up then accuse them of being the WUM.

I suggest you read your posts again and ask yourself if you would be happy them being aimed at you.?

I am also happy for the mods to remove the off topic posts on this thread.  It may be pointless replying to you, and boring for everyone else to read, but before you go calling others out, take a look in the mirror.

I used to watch the odd Avenue game when I lived in Bradford, there was some right characters up at Horsfall. Old Ronnie Mark'em tighter and get the ball!

There is a street at the side of it where you can park but that might depend what time you get there. There are new parking restrictions starting on Saturday covering Midland Rd. and some surrounding streets.
This means the City fans that used to get there early and park there now have to find an alternative.

Really surprised we haven’t sold more for Bradford. I can understand many have to pick & choose which matches to go to.
It looks like most have chosen Sunderland as it’s a new venue and a big club.
Hope we can get some late comers for the Bradford game.

Hopefully, last year we only sold 899 to Bradford. It’s an increase from last year. Still 2 days to buy tickets and pay on the day. Most likely 1100 will be there which is not to bad

I'm sure that he will turn them round. Hopefully they can lose to us and then win the rest of their games to stay up.

Does your mum work in ticket office ?

My Mother died 15 plus years since - and in fact her Birthday was 3rd April - and amazingly her Fav Team was Tottenham Hotspur who opened that posh Ground on her Birthday. They won some money for her once and she was hooked on them. Amazing eh ?

So I have no family Members in the TO either and unamazingly I look at online sales as often as I need to and if you know :

Our initial allocation v Bradford was 1201

The Number of Seats left is 285

Then subtract the Seats left from what we were given that equals 916 (sold as of right now)

You could have looked (if you were interested) and could have seen that we have sold 4 Tickets overnight - its that easy !

So all this is so easy for anyone to look at at any time and so I dont ever feel the need to post it - why would I ?

We’ve sold over 900

Really surprised we haven’t sold more for Bradford. I can understand many have to pick & choose which matches to go to.
It looks like most have chosen Sunderland as it’s a new venue and a big club.
Hope we can get some late comers for the Bradford game.

I was going to go until events this week have conspired against me being able to do so.
Not the end of the world though.

I think the real reason you're not going mate is because I'm going, and that means almost certain defeat for the Rovers.

Just ask Selby and Wolfie.
and me Steve as you went to Burton with me and my son if you remember 😫
