How is May ahead of Sadlier?!
-
Am feeling a bit edgy about tonight even before seeing the team selection. On top of that I just hope Maxted doesn't come back to haunt us and play a blinder!

How is May ahead of Sadlier?!
Both need to improve massively to be in a promotion winning league 1side

How is May ahead of Sadlier?!
I would’ve gone with Sadlier too. Big chance for Alfie May though.

How is May ahead of Sadlier?!
I'd rather resign Lewis Guy than May.
-
Not sure we have come back to even draw from a two goal deficit this season.
First time for everything!

Good job they aren’t in a promotion winning league 1 side then...

Disagree, we were lumping it to him all first half. May played Marquis in for a great chance which he should have scored.

May was way way way out of his depth tonight
If sadlier had started I don’t think we’d have lost may was just a passenger
Also marquis needs dropping
Defended him for weeks but he’s doing nothing at the minute
-
I've defended May for two and a half years but I've had enough now. He's not good enough, doesn't offer enough in any area. Loan him to a League 2 side and see if he can make it as a pro, otherwise get him shipped off.
Marquis was poor tonight too, not that he was the only one.

Since hen did we think that playing hoofball was any good? The manager has to hold his Hans up tonight and say he got it wrong. We can talk the talk, but we can't walk the walk. Mentally, weak. Physically, even weaker.
-
I don’t think we played hoofball, there was a couple of balls played up to May but other than that we played too much football at times passing it backwards and sidewards
Only when whiteman came on did we start passing forwards with a purpose

And yet, here we are with 69 points from 44 games and 1/8 on with the bookies to make 6th place. Which suggests that we're not exactly a basket case.

Alan is right, we got sucked into the long-ball tactic and too often, especially in the first half, just sent it high and long with the predictable outcome. Baffling.

There was no movement in the first half. People were coming and demanding in then in the second half people were making good runs and some lovely one-twos.
