Stated at press conference that when he looks round the dressing room he’s sees Andy Butler, Copps & Tommy Rowe he thinks it’ll be their last chance of getting to play in the Championship - the biggest hint yet he sees all 3 being here next season.

If like many on this board believe Tommy is leaving why did GM mention Tommy’s name for next season. Was it a throw away comment or does he see him with us if we are in the Championship and or league 1. Will he also get picked this Saturday for a vital game. Keep saying he is the leading goal per minute scorer from midfield this season and GM’s captain.

Only be in the championship with us, not that that wouldn’t move on to another league 1 or league 2 club.?

And yet, to me, I don't think it reads either way at all. He just means that these are older players so by the nature of their limited time remaining as pros (tbf Rowe is only 29) they can't presume they'll get to be in this position again.

He's right. Their opportunities to be in this position diminish by 1 every year, therefore they don't have many chances left.
Apart from Copps, maybe. He'll still be playing when hes 50

Not quick enough in a front 3 no where near.
Best position is in the hole behind strikers imo.
We have a few for that role though.

maybe next season we should change our kick off times to 5.30 on a Saturday

Aye a few hundred in the South Stand, there's about 900 left though that can actually be sold. Could we be looking at a lockout tomorrow?
