Title: Accrington

Had a very good look at the league table this morning. If we had won both of those games they would be relegated on 48 points so just shows you league doubles huge key on where you finish in table.

I don’t agree. “Doubles” make no more or less difference than two wins elsewhere.

This actually links to a stat I deliberately did not put up before the Coventry game. Our previous 7 league games were:

Bristol Rovers Home - won
Walsall Home - won
Bradford City Away - won
Plymouth Home - won
Sunderland Away - lost
accrington Home - lost
Oxford Away - drawn

These 7 results were identical to the reverse fixtures earlier in the season - not a good omen given we lost at Coventry

I am still baffled by the 2 Fleetwood games!

Fleetwood away not baffling at all it was a rare tactical error by McCann he played our most influential midfielder on the day Herbie at right back in the second half totally negating our threat going forward. Thankfully Grant didn’t repeat this clanger
