Looks attack minded.....going for it for real.....let’s hope no one chokes,..we need to be in there faces from the whistle and the pitch must shrink to a postage stamp when we don’t have the ball....

But he didn't. Torn a new asshole yet again. All Matty's attributes are attacking, why managers persist in playing him at fullback is beyond me

Don’t think he was bad at all. We haven’t got another right back anyway so it’s a pointless debate. Aaron Lewis has proven not to be good enough.

Matty wasn’t shown up at all today.
He had a solid game.
Obviously though some people have their “Curtis Main” player to shout at.

He'd be there if he could. I don't think he has the speed nor the ability to offer the forward runs.

Downing was a liability in his normal position today so why would you want him at right back? Blair one of the few players to come away with praise I'd say, and he got a very important goal for us.

I didn't think either of them played well. But Downing made a lot of silly errors, unlike him.
Anyway, I'm not in for criticising players, just didn't feel Blair deserved stick on here. We're still in the tie and I'm sure everyone will do what they can to turn it around at the Valley.

I really despair at the attitude of some of our fans towards our players.

Why? For saying a player isn’t good enough? Tries hard but not good enough. Anderson is a better option.

We do need a right back for next season but Matty was not Torn anything today so you are wrong. The two players playing wide right and left did nothing today until Sadlier went off and Wilks went left. Matty is a better player going forward and we have missed that attribute since the Mason situation, but he is the best right back we have at the moment.

Butler wins most of his headed duels, is very strong and doesn’t get turned much.
He got the better of Taylor today in general and a Taylor is one of the best frontmen in the division.
He knows his weaknesses which is why he doesn’t try to carry the ball forward himself.
Nothing wrong with Anderson by the way, he is also good but in our system GM can only pick two of the available CB’s.

I’ll have to make an appointment with the opticians, because I thought Butler played well, got his head to most things, where as Downing probably had his worse game for us
