Can't add much to what's already been written since the game but so proud of the lads. Proved to the world that they weren't there to make up the numbers or be like "rabbits in the headlights" as all the punters predicted. It's an old cliche but why can't they perform like that every game? How can they be so bad against Wimbledon, Shrewsbury and Fleetwood, to name a few and still get so close to a Wembley final? Highs and lows have always gone hand in hand with supporting Donny. I'm old enough to remember beating Darlington 10-0 at home (and losing 2-0 away), the great days of Jeffrey and Sheffield in the 60's, O'Callaghan and Kitchen in the 70's, the Snodins in the 80's and the Billy Bremner years. We were even good for a time in the early 90's under Sammy Chung and then along came Richardson and Weaver. Dark days indeed. BUT, we are Rovers and with the help of many great people have emerged stronger than ever. Losing out today was hard but we should remember that not so long ago we were regularly facing the likes of Halifax, Stockport, Southport, Wrexham, York and Torquay. This season has been a massive step forward so let's hope that we can keep the boardroom set up, the management structure and the core of the players together as we definitely have the right tools in place to go one better next season.
Not really withdrawal symptons, but when are the fixtures out?

Well said Rich,my thoughts as well. Absolutely gutted last night on the last train home but a lot worse this morning as it finally sinks in how close we were. The team and the manager were a credit to the club .

Bring it on. In fact away from home will do. :boxing:

First fixture , Charlton away

First fixture , Charlton away
........in front of about 10,000 people.
-
Rovers v Sunderland first fixture
Rovers v Lincoln on Boxing Day
-
Rovers vs Bury/Rochdale on Boxing Day would do for me.
First home game avoiding Salford’s first home game in the FL would be ideal, as I’ll be off to that one regardless.
Why?

Why?
Because I want to.
P.S - Hope Oxford is late on in the season (and judging by previous years I think it will be).
Sorry, just seems weird that you care for attending the class of 92's team before your own, unless you've some connection?

No worries Rigo, it was a genuine question, not questioning your fanhood pal.
