Has it been announced who won the Man of the Match award this year as voted by us?
-
last poll closes tomorrow so will announce then. any guesses who you think has won it / should have won it?
-
Surely has to be Rowe. Man was immense.
Edit: Oops, misread that and thought it was for the Charlton game. Whiteman for me but interested to see who tops the poll.
-
HERBIE KANE won it! Final points here: https://www.drfc-vsc.co.uk/index.php?topic=270568
Coppinger came in a respectable 2nd, Whiteman and Marquis came in joint 3rd on points, but Marquis won man of the match 2 more times

Thought that might be the case as he was sensational in the first half of the season.
Thanks for that BJW, and for running the polls all season.
Have to ask mind, why is Houghton listed when he left last season?

My mistake - copied excel from last season before adding votes for this season and missed his name when removing players who had left

I suppose it would've been more surprising if he'd actually registered a vote! :P

I think that final table is a solid reflection of our players this season. Thanks BJW for the work over the season
The one that stands out for me is Lawlor with 0 (from 14 games). Not criticising him as a good keeper performance can mean the rest of the team play well too.
