Never mind no food on the shelves, and us all getting super-gonorrhoea followed by WW3, what about the possibility of us not being allowed in the Eurovision song contest? And even if we are allowed, will they be grown-up enough to not place us at the bottom?
Perhaps I'm just scaremongering like the rest of the scaremongerers. I'm sure in this day of grown-up politics that won't happen. Will it?
-
Don't worry, eurovosion is nothing to do with that corrupt political union they call the EU.
I have faith other countries won't just vote politically ;)
-
It's the biggest freak fest on the planet.
-
I hadn’t realised that we still entered it.
-
Aye apparantly we keep finishing last !
Solution ? Get someone to put up a prize for coming LAST as well as first - and you will see immediate results as nations conspire against us to make sure we come next to last !
Just been docked 5 Points as well after a mistake was discovered in the voting
-
A better solution would be to enter a song people want to vote for instead of the usual r'n'b-lite dirge that gets served up every year. I wouldn't vote for them, I certainly wouldn't expect anyone else to.
-
You wouldn't vote for
us them because you probably hate us them more than they do!

Do you really think everybody in Eurovision is as small-minded as you so as to think they're voting for the country and not the song?
-
Noooooooooooooooo, there voting on the merit of the song, of course! Silly me!
I'm so glad I'm not as streetwise as you!
-
BillyStubbsTears. Do you see why you lose so much support for your cause with allies like Mr Wiggerley?

You don't need to be streetwise, just wise enough to look at the voting pattern over the years.
-
The songs may be shit but I reckon it's more to do with them hating us. Good. At least being hated means you are relevant.

Jesus f**king wept.
Congratulations on compressing the largest number of stupid opinions into 2 lines in the history of the English language.
10,000 years of the advance of civilisation eh? We live at the pinnacle of that. In one of the safest, richest, most comfortable, best educated groups of humans that this process has produced.
And that's the best contribution that some of our compatriots can add to the process.
f**k me sideways, what IS the point?

No one likes us, we don't care.

It's much worse than that mate. It's not that you're not liked. You're not respected.
-
Eurovision is just a bit of fun, people take it too seriously when it comes to the political voting and all of that.
The UK entry this year deserved to finish last, it was very dull and predictable.
Also, Eurovision has absolutely nothing to do with the EU. It was hosted by Israel this year, and entrants range from Russia to Azerbaijan to bloody Australia.
-
Get Sleaford Mods on it next year.

Even better. :)

Oh yes! I'd crawl over broken glass to see Sleaford Mods doing Jolly f**ker at Eurovision.

I'd like to see Jeremy Corbyn do a cover of Making your mind up.

Good one!
Mind, there's not too many in either the Cabinet or the Shadow Cabinet who I'd want to see having their skirt pulled off.
