2 year deal

Who? Is he any good?

Right back that started at Middlesbrough and has had a solid career in L2 since leaving them - 170+ games in four seasons. Having spent the last two at Cambridge.

Never mind is he any good... Has he said he's delighted to sign for a massive club and is he just looking forward to getting going?
-
Can’t complain at that, good start!
-
Doesn't have a 4-minute goals montage set to mid-2000s indie music, must be crap. Bloody shite Bramhall.

If that's aimed at me i was responding to the 'Who' question above
-
I'm jesting, not aimed at anyone.
-
Their fans are gutted he's leaving so must be a good player 😊
-
McCann has signed him so he will be good. No need to even question signings this summer
-
From a twitter exchange it seems him and Joe Wright have played together before.

At Accrington i think.

According to wiki he’s a midfielder or right back, anyone know which position he favours? Obviously great to have some versatility in the squad but would be interested to know if he’s been brought in as our specialist right back or to compete for a spot in the midfield three.

He is a right back.
This is the kind of signing our fans are often asking for. Young but experienced in the EFL, a player with potential snapped up from a lower division.
Let's face it, we needed a right back as a matter of urgency, probably the top priority this summer position-wise and McCann has gone out and sorted it before the end of May. I'm really pleased with it and let's hope we can carry on our recruitment in the same vein over the next couple of months.

He turned down another contract at United su they liked him
-
Played a lot of games for a kid his age, got a feeling we are going to have a very strong pre season with signings. McCann knows what hes doing.
-
How do I get on to rumour mill, cheers.
-
We’re all going on a Bradley Halliday....
-
Want to feel old?
He is Stephen Halliday’s son.
(I made that up).

Sounds like the type of player we’re looking for to play the exciting football like we did against Charlton. Great age too, gutted about Andy Butler, been a great ambassador for the club on and off the pitch but the team moves on. Same with Rowe, if he wants to leave shame but a ho. Building a stronger, younger team that can challenge not just this season but if successful in a division above. Onward and upward

But i thought we couldn't find any pens at this time of the year

Exactly.
Clearly Grant has his own for these times !
-
Grant McCann, sponsored this closed season by Parker Pens.
-
Definitely got a multiple of bic-biroson his desk - seen him picking em up in Morrison's last week.
Lol
-
Happy with this one, looks decent on paper.
Position we needed to strengthen.
Good age.
Plenty of experience.
Out of contract.
Hopefully first of a few good signings.
