Title: How to backup / copy text messages off iPhone

Hi anyone now how to take a copy of text messages from an iPhone? I have text messages that I would like to copy the whole conversation and store off line. Thanks for your help.

Haven't got an iPhone anymore, so I don't fully remember but I think the iPhone app for PC lets you do it.
