Before being approached by Hull, Grant was having talks with the Gooners about bringing in 21 year old Ben Sheaf to the Keepmoat for a season long loan. He's a classy midfielder well thought of at the Emirates, and was most recently at Stevenage on loan.

Would be pleased with this kind of signing. Loads of potential by the looks of it and desperate for game time. Fingers crossed it comes off. :rtid:

Rangers now saying the deal is on hold until the McCann situation is sorted.
-
All the loans will be on hold until the parent clubs know whether Grants sticking or twisting.

No they are not, a Rangers fan site has speculated that it might be. Big difference.

It is speculation but it’s probably educated
I’m sure they wouldn’t let their young players come on loan without knowing who the manger is going to be

Oh it's perfectly plausible, but not one bit of "Rangers now saying the deal is on hold" is factual.

. Oh Yeah?
That report was then seemingly corroborated by their manager, Grant McCann. He claimed that he was ‘100% sure’ a loan deal would go through for a player who featured in the Europa League last season [Doncaster Free Press].
However, the move has been thrown into doubt.
That’s because McCann’s own future with Donny is now uncertain. Managerless Championship club, Hull City, have made a formal approach to speak to the former Northern Ireland international [BBC Sport].
It’s said that the 39-year-old is yet to decide whether or not to enter into talks. The Hull job would be a big one to turn down, though.

I am, if the forum only ever dealt with facts it would be a very quiet place to be

What’s constitutes as ‘Official ‘ McCann hasn’t said he’s going but we know he will be ..because he hasn’t said that he’s not interested. We could loose our loans as a result as well as the contract waverer Marquis . If McCann isn’t playing games then it has to be assumed that Like the SO’D approach, the club want to agree a fee before letting talks commence .

Ben Sheaf's brother Max plays for Hull City so can see him following GM to the KCOM.
