Hopefully confirmation of this deal indicates McCann will be staying...

Ooh, one out of left field! A bit of continental technical wizardry... Hopefully!

Looks like the info I got of no further signings was incorrect. Unless of course, Mccann is going nowhere.

Good signing. GM doesn’t speak about players that sign straight away. My god why can’t people stop moaning. What will be will be. We still have our club. Let’s hope the same with GM. But if not, we move on

I wonder if Hubert Bates would have signed another left footer? 😉
One for the older supporters.

No first team experience.

Wonder if he's one for the future or expected to slot syrsifht in. Will be interesting to see.

Unknown signing let’s see if he’s a Tommy Rowe or Herbie Kane don’t understand why it’s took so long to sign him.
Another height limited player.

Why do you think it’s taken so long to sign?

Yes signing an unknown 22 year old player shows the intent for McCann staying.

Not a very flattering report on hitc, re his Leeds stay. He only managed 2 appearances for them.

The Arsenal lad sounded a lot more like it!

The Arsenal lad might still come if GM decides to stay with us.

I agree with Alan and Steve.

I've not seen our new signing play, but I'm going to reject him on the basis of some arbitrary standards of age, experience and height in favour of some other player I've not seen play either.

Better report on Madger.

To be fair we need two midfielders, ones left sided and the others right from the sound of things.

Vaya, you're at it again. I havn't commented on the player, rather the report about him on hitc. Try reading it, you might even get what I'm talking about.

I never judge anyone until I've seen them myself.

You never know, he may have been brought in for the u23 side.

HITC is a bag of b*llocks. Written for the most part by kitsons posing as journalists.

Although you have said the other player sounded more like it, somewhat undermining your point.

I agree though it's generally a good idea to see someone play before forming any judgements.

How can I put this...He has been around a bit for such a young lad. Could be good life experience, could be a reason why he has shifted so much. Benefit of doubt to lad but seeing out the two year deal would be nigh on his longest spell anywhere.

Sounded more like it, as in the report on him was more positive. No more, no less.

Only too ready to jump in where it’s not warranted.

Apology accepted.

To be fair he joined Liverpool at 17 and stayed until he was 20 when he joined Leeds - that was only about 2 years ago.  After getting little chance at Leeds he left after a year and has played a few matches in France and Croatia, probably trying to get some games more than anything.  He may need to get bedded in, but he was someone that Liverpool and Leeds saw something in, so perhaps he could blossom under GM......  :woohoo:

Yep and having to fight for a contract may be advantageous in his development. Will wait and see. There are players like Tamas and that joker Razak who spend their career jumping on and off planes.
