No need for that, really. I don't read NewsNow, I did know about Downing from social media/journalist reports but not everybody who comes on here does that either.

No I don't, but I am capable of using common sense, and after reading all the stuff that McCann has spouted, it's obvious we are offering peanuts compared to the real promotion contenders.

Do you think we were offering the going rate for a top quality centre half or trying to get him on the cheap?
