Why are we unable to keep ours players and manager doesnt say a lot for the club
-
The players think they are worth more than they are and will go to any club that will pay them the most
-
It's football-this is what happens. Not just to our club, but to every league one club.
-
We're a League One club when anyone does well they'll get the chance to rise up the leagues, that's just how it goes.
-
Nothing..
-
This is on McCann, not the club. His decision to jump immediately, his decision to let half the first team leave before doing so.
-
I think mcann is a two faced, contradicting Kitson.
However I think the club have massively let themselves down.
Hull shouldn't be a big attraction for mcann over rovers, especially the state they are in.
What does that say about the state rovers are in?
-
Aye, how on earth could a club with bigger crowds, in a higher division and with recent Premier League and FA Cup final experience ever possibly be more attractive than Doncaster Rovers? It just doesn't make sense.

Surely he would have sat down with GB and the chairman to look at the wage offers for each player and it will have been agreed. He would also sort agreement with both on incoming players. So to get the players he wanted a certain amount of funds would have been available. Unfortunately he must have failed to bring in his permanent signings with the resources available. It looks that could only happen when John was sold.
He should have stayed not like DF but say it as it was. The next players coming in appears to be loans but we will not know if they don’t come.

Doomstick.

It is definitely bad timing for us but I’m sure the drama we see unfolding could well be just another chapter in the clubs history, but those at the top of the clubs board may need a reality check as success is brief and soon becomes food for the footballing vultures who feed on small clubs like ours .

Take off those rose tinted glasses wiggerly, and look what is happening.

I am looking at what's happening. The difference between you and me is that I'm not slashing my wrists and blaming the world for it happening.

Only thought is not football But Club Doncaster

Be concise, use facts , and remember most statements are subjective

Bonfire night ? .... rather precise !
Why not by 5.33 pm on the 16th of October ?

Nothings wrong with the club, we can’t afford to give out 3 year contracts, so every few years we have a large turn over of players. We rebuild, we are not the only club that operate like this. Grant this coming season decided to make the squad a more level playing field by making everyone on similar wages, fair enough that was his choice, that meant some of our players who expected pay rises didn’t get them and so they decide to leave to chase money else where. That’s up to them.
We now move on, 12 months ago we found our selfs in a very similar position, 9 months on we were in the play offs
Keep faith with the board, they pulled it out the bag last season, I have faith they will do the same this time around.
The board got there man they will do the same again
-
I agree with a lot of what you say but the position we’re in now is much worse than last year.
The quality of the squad and the time of year makes it much worse

What’s wrong with football? It’s all about money!!
