Joins Bristol Rovers on loan. Never felt he had much of a chance under Grant, yet I thought he looked decent.

Similar to Kiwomya IMO, pace but needed to work on end product... can see him getting a chance under the next manager

Boocock is better than Kiwomya!

The Kiwomya that has been ill for a couple of seasons Alan, or the Kiwomya that is fit and tore us a new backside at Crewe the other season? He is the one player we should be giving a blank sheet this season, he has never played for us when his health and fitness has been right.
He put some good balls over from the right last night, and gave the full back five yards start over twenty a couple of times.

He had a full pre-season last year and wasn't deemed good enough.

You cannot judge anyone's ability against the standard of the opposition last night.

Tyler Smith is a better player.

I hope they both do well.  Red a pre season after he had just had a life threatening illness, a young family, and was not fully over the illness.
Something like that is just as mentally difficult to get over as it is physically, he will not be the first sportsman to take quite some time to get over some thing like that.
I would be giving him every chance to prove that he has got back to some thing like his best, he is under contract for this season, what have we got to lose?
