All the journos all very quiet. They are obviously being prepped. The silence is deafening, as they say.*
*Apart from a couple of twitter accounts that tweet out every rumour anyway so they're bound to have a 5 % success rate, and a guy on facebook who knows the kitman. (I'd just like them to announce it so I can get back to work)

Scrolled down in expectation and excitement only to see that Reece James enjoyed his first game in a Rovers shirt 🤦🏻♂️

E) Contracts are quite long and take time to read/amend
F) The manager will need to be properly unveiled at an actual press event, likely needing a few dozen people to pull together. You can't just unveil a manager by scrawling DARREN MOORE on a post-it note and sticking it on the Alick Jeffrey Way sign.

Its possible that good applicants have other options that they're considering or have been invited for interview elsewhere. DM has experience managing in the bottom end of the premiership and the championship. Maybe thrown his hat in the ring for Newcastle, a club operating in those areas?

I’ve heard from someone within the club we offered it Moore yesterday and he was given 24 hours to decide.
The other 2nd interviewee was flitcroft so could be worth a bet on him.

If that were to be the case and I’m hoping it’s not we could be in a bad position. I would assume Appleton would do that same and we would be left with Hudson/Flitcroft.
