Should we do away with democracy and just have economists running
our their country?

A few years ago I spent some time working in Belgium. During this period the country was effectively being run by civil servants. As I recall, elections had taken place the year before with no overall winner. Negotiations to form a coalition were dragging on for over a year so without a leader and government the civil service basically ran the country. From what I remember this didn’t seem to be causing any problems.

The problem is that most of the senior civil servants are rabid remainiacs. Hopefully they will be purged.

Civil servants pretty much run this country anyway.

And who replaces them once the civil service has been cleared of these politically incorrect 'remainiacs'?
