Used Urban Arborists to remove a large silver birch last year, did a good job

I'll take a chainsaw to it for £50.

I also had Urban Arborist remove a conifer hedge and plant a laurel replacement. They came when they said, provided a written quotation and did an excellent job. They took away all the waste and were very tidy. I would highly recommend them.

You can't just cut it down without permission. That's treason.

you are smart and thoughtful by deciding to do it now when there are no eggs in nests. Seriously these conifers can literally turn into bird hotels - after all the years you have been giving them free board and lodgings.

I've used Urban Arborist too. Very happy with jobs they've done for us.  Used them a couple of times.

We used these a few years ago to cut down a line of 7 or 8  very large conifers  with a greenhouse underneath  no damage to the greenhouse and it was amazing as they took one tree halfway down and then started dropping the next tree and landing it on top of the one they had just done till they got them all halfway down and then started felling all the way

But nobody but me and him will know if I chop it down then take my leaf.
