Must be an injury as wouldn't expect him to need a rest

Funny that but last week, during a stoppage in play, the players came over to the touchline and John was pointing at his groin.

From Liam Hodens matchday blog

3.41 WHITEMAN!!!
Rovers lead thanks to their skipper!
And it came thanks to a brilliant counterattack, starting all the way from Seny Dieng.
Kieran Sadlier sent Brad Halliday storming down the right. He played a low pass into the box which Jon Taylor left, allowing the onrushing Ben Whiteman to sweep a shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
Rovers have spent much of the half on the back foot but find themselves firmly in front.

Decent half..

Coventry moving it around well and Dieng has made a couple of saves, and Anderson a block when Dieng was beaten.

We look ok going forward, plenty of width..  Coventry need to press so we will have chances to get behind them in the second half..

As for the game being a must win etc,. No it isn’t, but we should aim win any game - shouldn’t fear any opposition in this division..

If we lose because Coventry have a better second half I would be disappointed but so be it.. I have seen enough in our team in recent weeks to see we can compete with anyone in the league..

58' - Hiwula's shot deflected.

City continue to press looking for an equaliser and it's Hiwula's shot which takes a deflection on it's way through and is comfortable for Dieng.

Think it was it was a case of when not if Coventry to score

A draw still a good result with no strikers on the pitch after Ennis went off

Would've took it this morning.  The striker issue still a big problem.

Game over, would have been happy, I still am, with a point before the game started.

Onwards and upwards

Fair result in the end.. Coventry has a fair amount of chances so can’t really complain.. Taylor should have taken his chance but it wasn’t to be..

Good away point at a team that had won every game at home.

Hopefully Ennis and sterling will be back next week or sign Victor to at least give us an option to bring on.

Shite ref? Not because of one, supposedly, bad decision, surely?
Just asking.......again!  :)

Not at all. However that was a clear handball just out side the box

Was that in the build up to their goal or at the other end?

If we could have hung on we would have been 7th now we are 9th, only table that matters is the one at the end of season. Only 6 points off autos. Still happy just hope we don't rue missing out on these points

No. We had an effort near enough at the death, popped up,hit a coventry hand. Clear free kick just outside the box

Good test today and no- one should really feel disappointed with the result given the circumstances

I can’t believe no one has mentioned the ref in the second half wasn’t the same as the one in the first

It has been mentioned on the rate the ref thread.
Most of us who posted in here, if not all of us, were not at the match.

I didn't actually realise until I saw it on the thread to be honest. Don't really spend much time watching the referee or notice what they look like unless they're bald or something else that makes them stand out. Wondered why I thought he seemed to change after half time...
