Personally I was a little disappointed at the amount of ex players on show at halftime bearing in mind it was billed as our 140th birthday.
Don’t get me wrong it’s always great seeing (my first Rovers hero) Kitch but I thought there might have been a few more there.
It was also noticeable how many of the guys are struggling to walk
Chris Brown looked like he could still do a job for us

Kitch is and was and will be my favourite Rovers Player forever
He nearly got toppled by Paul Green and had he have stayed after Wembley I think we would have taken over the top spot (well my top spot as these things are personal)
As you say a good turn out - but could have been more I suppose. Downside is they probably had to do this at HT when people go off to the Loos - and many others are stuck in the queues - and those that arent cant come back in with the Booze - and the vast majority watch Sky Sports news.
-
Only managed to catch a few of the names involved , anybody have a full list ??

I didn’t know that it was happening. As usual I went straight to the concourse at half time and heard nothing. An announcement prior to the game or on the half time whistle or even on the Stadium TV would have been nice.

Off the top of my head and the ones I recognised
Colin Douglas
Laurie Sheffield
Terry Curan
Chris Brown
Peter Kitchen
Francis Tierney
Adam Lockwood
There were a few more but I can’t remember them
-
Brian Usher was there.
-
As was Jack Ashurst and maybe Micky French
-
Didn't see Lockwood, but Barry Miller was there.
-
Thought I heard Stuart Robertson’s name. My old hero! Didn’t recognise him though if he was one of those walking round.
-
Robertson was there, you are right.
-
Stuart must be over 70 now but I recognised him straight away despite his shaved head. He looked very fit and well.
Absolute rock of a centre half he was.

Wish I had. Superb player and captain.
